Chapter 3796 from operating within the unincorporated territory of Richland Township. RICHLAND TOWNSHIP Fairfield County March 20th, 2016 CEMETERY MOWING BIDS Richland Township Trustees will accept bids for mowing Cemeteries during the 2016 mowing season for the following: (1) Custard Cemetery, 6740 Logan Thornville Rd. The cemetery is .73 acre. (2) Reid Cemetery, 8840 Pleasantville Road with .64 acres. (3) Stevenson Cemetery, 4600 Snake Run Road, .51 acres. (4) Winegardner Cemetery 5252 Thornville Road, .17 acre and (5) Woolard Cemetery 7352 Hampson Road, .06 acres, and (6) Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Gun Barrell Road is .05 acre. Bids must be on a Township Bid Form, obtained by contacting the Township Fiscal Officer at 1-740-536-9240 or Trustees. Proof of insurance needs to be attached to the bids. BOARD OF RICHLAND TOWNSHIP TRUSTEES DECEMBER 10, 2014 Fiscal Officer took roll call. Present: Randy Beyer, Brad Markwood, and Ryan Young Absent: None Vistors: Ken Rookard Fire Department. Mr. Young started the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance. Minutes of the last meeting were read as approved. COMMUNICATIONS: Mr. Markwood made a motion to approve the bank reconciliation for October, 2014. Mr. Beyer seconded the motion. Motion passed with three yes votes. Trustees signed the mileage certification for 2014. FIRE DEPARTMENT: Mr. Rookard told the Trustees that on December 6th a grain rescue training was held at RTFD and then a hands on class was given at Mr. Ricketts Farm on Oakthorpe Road. The class was a success and they had the opportunity to learn from two great instructors from the State Academy. On December 13th they will be hosting a breakfast with Santa and cookie walk. The department has hired four new members FF Walker, FF Aleaxander, FF Malone and FF Decker. The Department detailed budget will be completed at the next meeting on December 12, 2014. ZONING REPORT: No Business OLD BUSINESS: Mr. Beyer handed out to the Trustees copies of letters that the Fairfield Department of Health had written to different property owners that had abandoned their properties. NEW BUSINESS: Trustees reviewed and approved several resolutions for 2015. Mr. Markwood made a motion to keep the employee pay & benefit the same as last year. Mr. Beyer seconded the motion. Motion passed with three yes votes. Mr. Beyer made a motion to keep the cemetery fees and burial policies and hours the same. Mr. Markwood seconded the motion. Motion passed with three yes votes. Mr. Markwood made a motion to approve the insurance for elected official and employees for 2015. Mr. Beyer seconded the motion. Motion passed with three yes votes. Mr. Markwood also made a motion to approve the trustees & fiscal officers’ compensation. Mr. Beyer seconded the motion. Motion passed with three yes votes. Mr. Beyer made a motion to keep the zoning inspector’s salary and job description the same as 2014. Mr. Markwood seconded the motion. Motion passed with three yes votes. ROAD DEPARTMENT: No new business for the road department. TREASURER’S REPORT RECEIVED: All bills were read and discussed, with a motion by Mr. Markwood, seconded by Mr. Beyer to approve payment of bills and payroll/charges. Motion passed with 3 yes votes. I, Nancy R Myers, fiscal Officer certify that funds have been lawfully appropriated to meet the above expenditures. A motion was made by Mr. Beyer to adjourn the meeting.
